Mumbai: Tata Housing Development Company, one of the fastest growing real estate firms in India, was conferred the prestigious Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO) Global Performance Excellence Award in the Large Services category. The awards will be presented at the 20th APQO/International Conference on Quality in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 23-26, 2014.
The APQO is an autonomous, non-political, non-profit, scientific and technical organization domiciled in an Asia Pacific region fixed by the Core Council, Asia Pacific includes countries in Asia and those located near the Pacific Rim.
Prior to this award, Tata Housing had won the prestigious IMC’s Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality (RBNQ) Business Excellence Award - 2013 in the Services Category, which was organized by the Indian Merchant Chambers in March 2014.

The APQO is a non-profit organization that serves as an umbrella group that brings together all of the leading quality professional societies from countries that border on the Pacific Ocean or are considered Asian Pacific Rim nations. Only companies which had already won a national quality award in its home country and which had passed the rigorous final screening by the IAPQA Council are eligible for the IAPQA awards. The awards selection criteria are: leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurement, analysis and knowledge management, human resource focus and process management.
