Hyundai Construction Equipment sells 5000 excavators in India

Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. (HCEIPL), a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries, Korea, has sold 5000th excavator in the India since 2008. Hyundai commenced production of excavators at Chakan plant and since then have been selling excavator units of various tonnage, ranging from 8T to 80T and majority of them are of 20T category.

On achieving the sales, Ki Young Kong, Managing Director said, "Hyundai excavators cater to the growing need of the customers with higher technology adaptability and our excavators add value and profit to customers. Customers faith and confidence have been the major factor in Hyundai achieving this milestone."
20T excavators have been the major contributor of sales in the entire range. Versatility, adaptability and value for money have been the main factor behind the achievement, he said in release.

Hyundai also strives to be the market leader in terms of customer support through its strong network of trained and qualified service engineers, regional warehouses and a an equally strong team of dealerships across India.

Set up over a 50 acre land at Chakan near Pune in Maharashtra in a lush green surrounding with an investment of Rs. 300 crore in 2007, the state of the art manufacturing facility boasts of best in class technology, churning out world class products.

HCEIPL is headquartered in Pune and has four Regional Offices at Delhi, Calcutta, Hyderabad and Mumbai managing sales& service through its strong 27 dealerships across every state in India. The dealerships are aptly supported by Sales and Service centers ensuring customer centric service and maximum uptime to customers. Each region has a Warehouse for its immediate requirement whereas the mother warehouse in Pune works as a feeder.
