Mumbai: Various issues plaguing the real estate
sector will be discussed at a conclave to be organised here on Friday by
Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
The Real Estate Conclave 2012 will be
inaugurated by Maharashtra Minister for Housing Sachin Ahir, CII said in a
statement.
The theme of the conference is 'Conservation,
Consolidation and Growth: Defining Success for Realty'. Jones Lang LaSalle
India chief and Country Head Anuj Puri will be conference Chairman.
The seminar
will discuss realty sector-related issues such as high cost of labour, inputs
and finance and regulatory delays, among others. Besides, the meet will discuss
aligning real estate development pipeline with portfolio management strategies
of corporate occupiers, present and future of investable asset classes,
safeguarding returns from luxury, mid-segment and affordable segments, among
others.
