Netz Realty unveils affordable housing projects in Mumbai

Mumbai:  Affordable Housing Development company Netz Realty Developers has unveiled projects consisting of one BHK flats in Borivali East and Bhayander in Mumbai. The project consist of 1 BHK with Master bedroom layout and pricing starts Rs. 45 lacs onwards. Borivali East project is located in Ashok van area while the project in Bhayander is located very close to Maxus Mall. 

"Prices are skyrocketing in Mumbai constantly and the only way to create affordable housing in Mumbai is by reducing flat areas, giving basic necessary amenities and cutting down on surplus luxuries. Most of the Middle class group in Mumbai needs this kind of housing." said Ameya Gore, chief spokesman of Netz Realty Developers. 

 

"Most of the developers tend to go towards developing luxury housing by creating 2 to 3 BHK layouts and surplus amenities like swimming pools etc. This effectively increases the price of the house by nearly 25-40% than the ongoing rate in the area. Most of the people in Mumbai Metropolitan region are actually looking for flats in below 50 lakh category. We at Netz Realty make sure that our group and associates develops a good ratio of 1 bhk flats in every project and we cut down on unnecessary luxuries, " added Gore.

 

"I was looking for 1 BHK flat for more than 3 years and I have finally found a project that gives me one. Every new project I saw only had 2 BHK layouts which I could not afford." said Mr. Ashish Kambli, who bought 1 BHK flat in Netz Realty project. "In most areas of Mumbai, flats cost a minimum of 1 crore rupees. That is because they are 2 BHK and have swimming pools etc. I am glad to see something in Mumbai coming up at this price, " said Akash Jhaveri, a real estate consultant and researcher. 

 

"The Government should support builders who develop 1 BHK flats and put strict restrictions on those who create luxuries that have no takers." said an official with MMRDA who did not want to be identified.
