The three-day property show will see the participation of 65 topnotch CREDAI-member builders who will showcase more than 250 completed projects at the price-band spanning across Rs 10 lakh to Rs 10 crore.

Speaking at a press meet organised to announce the opening of the property show, T Chitty Babu, President of CREDAI, Chennai and head of Akshaya Homes, said, “FAIRPRO 2012 will underscore the vision of our latest ‘Mission Transparency’ initiative. We are showcasing properties which have all relevant approvals from the government agencies and clear title deeds. All the members who are part of the show have signed self-proclaimed ‘code of conduct’. Also, the show would provide an ideal platform for home-seekers who can take stock of various offerings, home loan schemes with sound financial assistance and can make an ideal choice from a wide array of 250 properties certified under CREDAI banner.”

“The FAIRPRO 2012 also guarantees fair prices, fair practices and fair deals to benefit the customers,” said the CREDAI Chennai chief, adding, the show would provide on-the-spot legal advice for aspiring home buyers.

Informing the gathering about the rise in popularity of FAIRPRO year after year, Suresh Krishn, Convener  of FAIRPRO organising committee, said, “Even before the formal announcement of the show , the FAIRPRO 2012 website has seen 20,000 hits and more than 600 people have already registered for their entry using e-registration facility. We have seen FIARPRO growing from strength to strength each year. Being backed by trust and credentials of CREDAI, the buyers will be able to find the right choice for their need with 100% assurance and peace of mind.”

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs have communicated to us that they are considering our initiative as the ‘first level of redressal’ for all the property disputes.  So far, CRFs are active in 22 states and we intend to extend throughout India by March 31st.”

On the occasion, Chitty Babu also announced that, “As part of CREDAI’s social responsibility initiatives, CREDAI has collected Rs 2.57 crore from 257 members throughout the state for the relief and rehabilitation of Cuddalore, which was battered by cyclone ‘Thane’ recently. We will hand over the money to the government of Tamil Nadu by this month end.”
