The Confederation of Real Estate Developers'
Association of India (CREDAI) Chennai chapter is organizing a three-day annual FAIRPRO
2013 property fair from February 22 at Chennai Trade Centre.
The
highlight of the event will be the participation o f seven leading housing
finance companies -- Axis Bank, HDFC
Bank, ICICI Bank, Indiabulls, LIC Housing Finance Ltd, Punjab National Bank and
State Bank of India.
Having representatives from all the participating
housing finance institutions under the same roof, it should be easy for
customers to compare the options available, shortlist the ones which match
their requirements and to finalize the loan for further processing.
As a prelude to the sixth edition of FAIRPRO
property exhibition, the Confederation of CREDAI will conduct two mega home
loan melas next week – one at Aloft
Hotel in Sholinganallur from February 14-15 and another will be at Vijaya Mahal
in Pondy Bazaar from February 16-17.
Another interesting aspect of the event is the involvement
of celebrity to promote the event. For the first time CREDAI has roped in
Kollywood actress Suhasini Maniratnam as brand ambassador for the property
event.
As many as 70 frontline builders will be showcasing
over 350 projects in and around Chennai with price ranging between Rs 15 lakh
to Rs 10 crore.
Briefing reporters, CREDAI Chennai Secretary, Suresh
Krishna, said, “The idea here is to inform buyers in advance about the projects
on offer, eligibility criteria and best offers of the day. Armed with
in-principle approval, the buyers can easily choose the project at the venue
without any hassle. We expect more than 75,000 visitors at the fair.”
HDFC Member of Executive Management, Mathew Joseph, said that
before choosing a property a buyer should look for two things — good yields on
property and on home loan.
The last edition of FAIRPRO generated business of Rs. 150 crore.
