Pennar Industries has bagged Rs 50 crore worth contracts for pre-engineered
buildings in Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Karnataka, the company said.
"Pennar Industries and its subsidiary Pennar Engineered Building
Systems (PEBS Pennar) announce receipt of orders worth Rs 50 crore for
pre-engineered buildings, cold formed profiles and engineered components,"
the company said in a statement.
The orders were received from Renaissance Infra Realty, Mahindra Gears &
Transmissions, RT Exports, SS Developers, Oriental Aromatics, MES projects and
others, it said.
Commenting on the developments, Nrupender Rao, Chairman Pennar Industries
said, "This reinforces the market acceptance of the design and engineering
capabilities of the Company."
The order from Renaissance Infra Realty includes design, manufacture, supply
and installation of a warehouse, near Thane, Maharashtra in 24 weeks for a
leading German automobile manufacturer.
"Order from Mahindra Gears & Transmissions, a subsidiary of
Mahindra Group, for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of a
manufacturing plant with a machine shop, at Varale, near Pune, Maharashtra...Is
expected to be completed by the end of June 2013," it added.
The RT Exports contract relates to design, manufacture, supply and
installation of a warehouse for grain storage at Bundi District, Rajasthan. The
project is expected to be completed by the end of April 2013.
"The order from SS Developers for the design, manufacture,
supply and installation of a warehouse extension building, at Mayasandra
village, near Bangalore for Puma and DHL... Expected to be completed by June
2013," the statement said, adding Oriental Aromatics contract relates to a
perfume manufacturing unit, at Ambarnath, Maharashtra to be completed by the
end of May 2013.
Pennar is engaged in the production and marketing of specialised and
engineered steel solutions.
