Tata Housing Gets Platinum Rating for Prive Project in Lonavala


Tata Housing, one of the fastest growing real estate companies in India, has received platinum certification from Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) for its ultra-luxury housing project Prive at Lonavala.

The evaluation process of the certification was based on parameters such as site selection and planning, water efficiency, energy efficiency, materials, internal environment quality and innovation and design process, a Tata Housing communiqué said.

Prive by Tata Housing is designed (by SCDA Architect) based on the theme of open architecture where the outside landscape interacts with the indoor space. The project is architecturally distinct from its surroundings, incorporating various water and energy saving measures using several innovative and sustainable green materials. 

Offered in four variants - Emperia, Palacia, Reserva, Santura and Dominia, the project is designed in such a way that every structure and unit allows generous daylight and natural ventilation. This will encourage home owners to save electricity by manually adjusting home settings to reduce energy use. With sustainability and environment friendliness at the epicentre, the project boasts of ample green and landscaped areas that are planned with native and adaptive vegetation to minimize water requirements.

In addition to water and energy conservation at Prive, the company is striving to preserve a century-old well that adds a rustic appeal to the otherwise contemporary design. Treated water shall be used for landscaping, and all apartments are fitted with low flow but efficient water fixtures. Rainfall over the whole area of the complex will be harvested and recharge 23 pits.

Square Yard's tri-city Property Show draws huge crowd

Square Yards, a technology-enabled transaction platform for the primary real estate sector, has organized a two-day property show “Indian Realty Revelry (IRR),” at top three Indian cities – New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Touted as one-of-its-kind property show in India, the event witnessed over 100 A-grade builders showcasing their properties, according to a press release.

There were over 6,000 visitors with almost 1,500 from Mumbai and 1,200 each from Delhi and Bengaluru. The property show was held simultaneously in three cities on 17th and 18th October.
The IRR brought together top builders such as DLF, Godrej, Tata Housing, Lodha, Artha & Brigade, Shapoorji & Palonji, Kalpataru, Embassy and many more.

Tata Housing sells 10,000 homes at Google's online shopping event

Tapping the burgeoning online property market, Tata Housing has got bookings for 10,000 homes on the opening day of the Google's two-day online shopping festival which began on Thursday.


Earlier, before the start of the event, the company disclosed its intention to put one of its luxury residential projects, being developed in Bangalore at a cost of Rs 150 crore, exclusively for online customers. 

The company will construct 75 independent homes and row housing in 5-acre project in Bangalore. The price of each home starts from Rs 3.5 crore, the company said.

Tata Housing said in a statement earlier that it would "participate in the Google's Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF), being held from 10-12 December, by launching an exclusive ultra-luxury project - The Cascades".

Besides this project, the company has also listed housing units of seven other projects across India through online mode. It has offered schemes and instant appreciation of prices in these projects.


Consumers can buy homes by paying a booking amount of Rs 50,000 for all projects and they would get an instant appreciation of up to 15 per cent, Tata Housing said.

"We received a phenomenal response through our pioneering initiative of online sales of real estate through partnership with google last year," said Brotin Banerjee, managing director and CEO of Tata Housing, the real estate arm of Tata Group.

Stating that online home buying is an emerging platform, he said the company is offering properties ranging from affordable to ultra-luxury segment.

In a separate statement, Tata Housing subsidiary Tata Value Homes said it would sell apartments in Boisar near Mumbai exclusively during this festival at a starting price of Rs 16 lakh. Interested customers can express their interest to book by paying Rs 20,000 online, it said.

Tata Value Homes would also offer special one-day price for apartments in its other projects across Ahmedabad, Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru starting Rs 32 lakh. 

Exceed expectation: Google

Reacting to the overwhelming response to its online property fest, Internet giant Google said the ongoing Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) has "exceeded wildest expectations", with Tata group's realty arm having bagged 10000 booking in a single day. 

Google India Managing Director Rajan Anandan said in spite of high traffic, the user experience was seamless and the sites were not going down.

TATA Housing offers unique scheme for homebuyers

MUMBAI: In a special initiative to commemorate the group’s 175th anniversary and also its founding father’s birth anniversary, TATA Housing in association with TATA Capital, is offering home buyers to book flats in selected projects by paying just 3 % of the cost.

For the first time in real estate history, the offering by Tata Housing Development Co. Ltd, will help realise the dreams of many aspiring homeowners, a TATA Housing release claimed.

The offer allows buyers to book their dream home by paying only 3% of the booking amount. This will be followed by 7% over the next six months across their projects in the premium and luxury homes.

The exclusive offer is valid only for three days between 1-3rd March on select Tata Housing premium properties such as Ariana (Bhubaneswar), Amantra (Mumbai), Myst (Kasauli), The Promont (Bengaluru), Gateway Towers (Mumbai) and Primanti (Gurgaon).

On its part, Tata Capital will offer a lower interest rate of 10.2%, as against 10.5%, with a complete waiver on the loan processing fees under this scheme. Moreover, Tata Housing offers a special concession of 3% across all its premium and luxury projects, the release further stated.

Speaking on the occasion of the 175th year legacy being honoured by Tata Housing, Brotin Banerjee, MD & CEO, Tata Housing said, "The Tatas have over the past 140 years improved the lives of communities they serve.
