Jaycee Homes organises blood donation camp in Mumbai

Mumbai: Jaycee Homes, a leading real estate developer in Mumbai, is organising a mega blood donation camp in association with Tata Memorial Hospital. The camp will be held at Versova, in the premises of Bhagtani Krishaang, Mumbai, on Sunday, September 16 from 11 am to 6 pm.

It has been observed that there is a severe shortage of blood in Mumbai. The blood donation camp organised by Jaycee Homes in association with Tata Memorial Hospital will address this need, helping the citizens of the city during any emergency.

Donors will get a blood donation card that entitles them or their immediate blood relative to seek a unit of blood whenever required.

Speaking on the upcoming blood donation camp, Lakshman Bhagtani, Chairman and Managing Director, Jaycee Homes, said, “Blood is the lifeline of mankind. It cannot be produced, but has to be donated. We at Jaycee Homes believe it is our responsibility as corporate citizens of this great city to ensure that no life is lost due to the want of blood. We are proud that our employees have taken the lead by wholeheartedly participating in the event, and we hope to make it a grand success.”

“This is a very noble deed that Jaycee Homes has initiated. We are hopeful that the blood donation camp will generate a lot of interest among the residents of Versova, and we are sure that a lot of people will come forward to donate their blood,” added Dr Anita Tendulkar of Tata Memorial Hospital.
