MENAFN: Leading Indian hotel chain The
Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts will sign a deal to manage a luxury property
in Dubai, according to a report.
President Rajiv Kaul announced that the
management contract for the 400-rooms property is the company's first abroad, reported
Arabian Business.
The chain, which at the current time manages eight properties in India, plans to double its portfolio during the coming five years.
Meanwhile, he noted that the group plans to divest its non-core assets in Pune, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
It is worth noting that Leela has marketing alliances with Germany's Kempinski hotels and US Preferred Hotels & Resorts.
